Filter Within a Collection

I'm trying to apply a filter to an existing collection in order to populate a new collection that I can then search within.  Currently I have:

ClearCollect(FilteredCustomerDataList, Filter(CustomerDataList, Customer=SelectedSalesCode, 'Distribution Channel'=DistChannel_Value.Selected/DistCode, Divsion=Division_Value.Selected.'Division Code'), CustomerDataList)

FilteredCustomerDataList = the New Collection I want to create based on the existing "CustomerDataList" which contains all master data.  I want it to filter by those criteria which are already selected in the APP.  It's not displaying an error, however while testing the results that are returned, the Filter is not working correctly because it's not filtering out the existing CustomerDataList by the Sales Code/Dist Channel/Divisions already selected on this form....

Re: Filter Within a Collection

Hi @AE19,

Please take a screen shot of the columns in CustomerDataList collection under File > Collections. It would be even better if you could include some example data. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.

Please explain what are these parameters stand for:

SelectedSalesCode

'Distribution Channel'

Divsion

Division_Value

/DistCode

'Division Code'

Especially, "/" symbol means Division (also see the Mod function). And why add '' for 'Distribution Channel'.

Regards,

Mona
