Filtering a table to show only certain columns after specifying a row

I currently have a table which has usernames down the first column.

It then has several other colums named 1Mon1, 1Mon2, 1Mon3 and 1Tue1, 1Tue2, 1Tue3 these equate to events during the day.

I can filter the table into a gallery to show the username, but is there a way to show only columns beginning with 1Mon?

I have concatenate the text to give the search value, just cannot get the columns to show.

Thanks in advance

Re: Filtering a table to show only certain columns after specifying a row

That is kind of right, only I wanted the columns to show only on the correct day automatically.

I did find a work around, whereas I made several context variables which linked to the concatenated text. Show when the text shows 1Mon then all of mondays columns are set as visible, when the text says 1Tue then all of Tuesday is show etc.

It seems a long work around but it does work

Thanks

Gareth

Re: Filtering a table to show only certain columns after specifying a row

Hi @Rinceward ,

Sorry but I'm afraid that I didn't fully understand what you are trying to achieve.

Did you mean that you want to only show 1Mon1, 1Mon2, 1Mon3 these 3 columns in the gallery control? If so, then you can only add 3 labels controls, and set the Text property to:

ThisItem.1Mon1
ThisItem.1Mon2
ThisItem.1Mon3

In addition, what is your connection type and what are the column types of these columns?

If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to correct me.

Regards,

Mona
