Filtering gallery by multiple choice

I'm having some difficulty sorting a gallery based on a multiple choice list item.

I believe this is due to it being a multiple choice rather than a text entry, I have a Dropdown control but I can't get it to display options from the multi-choice column. Is there something specific I'm supposed to do?

Kind Regards,

Can you please give us some examples of what options are in the drop-down and details about the DataSource the gallery is based on?  Also, are you trying to Sort the gallery or are you wanting to Filter instead?

Re: Filtering gallery by multiple choice

Hi, the data source is a sharepoint list, with 4 options under "status" they are : "Submitted", "Approved", "Rejected" and "Completed". I would like to filter the gallery, so whoever is searching will be able to only see the list items with the status they select.

Re: Filtering gallery by multiple choice

Here's how you can do the filter.  First, you should create a drop-down control and place the following code into the Items property:

Then go-to the gallery and put this code into the Items property.  Replace the SharepointListName with your list's name, and 'Status' with the name of your Choice column in Sharepoint.

Filter(SharepointListName,Dropdown.SelectedText.Value in 'Status'.Value)

Let me know if this helped!
