Homepage with grouped items based on dropdown selection

First, thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide. I am trying to create a powerapp that is linked to a SharePoint list. The app would be used to track various issues by state, governing body, etc.. What I would like to be able to do is have a homepage that lists the potential states impacted (here is the dropdown listing)

Select State(s)
All Multi-line States (8)
All Life Partner States (7)
All States (15)
AZ
KS
IA
MN
NE
NM
SD
UT
ID
CO
MT
ND
OK
WI
WY

So as someone fills out this form and submits, it aggregates or groups all list submissions to the corresponding state button on the homepage. Navigation would look something like this; click on state, then click on group (similar setup to state), view entries based on state and group. Go easy on me I am still learning!

Thank you.

Re: Homepage with grouped items based on dropdown selection

Hi @njellis,

Is the form an Edit form from an auto-generated App?

If you mean filter SharePoint List with the selected states and group, and then display the result in a gallery, that could be done.

Add two dropdown control contains the proper items (state, and group), then under the gallery items property, use fitler function to filter the SharePoint list:

Filter(SharePointList, State=StateDropDown.selected.value, Group=GroupDropDown.selected.Value)

The formula requires both the states and group are Text or number format.

If I have any misunderstand about your issue, then please post back.

Regards,

Michael
