Re: How do i install the power studio on Windows Server 2016 Dev VM ?

Hi @apzl808,

I agree with @timl's thought almost. The PowerApps Studio authoring experience in the desktop app has been deprecated at June 1st 2018.

Currently, it is not necessary to install PowerApps Studio for desktop on your side, instead, you should use PowerApps for web as your dev tool.

If you want to connect a PowerApps app to your SP list, please check and see if the following video would help in your scenario:

Hi @apzl808

PowerApps Studio for Windows has been deprecated, so there's no need for you to install the Microsoft Store on your VM.

If you want to develop apps on your VM, you can use the Web version of PowerApps Studio.

Hi @apzl808

Yes. With the Web version of PowerApps Studio, you can build apps that can display and update data from a SharePoint list.
