How to upload data from a Query to a Collection

Hello,

I have a need wich is work with data offline. Well, to accomplish this, I'm trying to use Collections. The problem is this is not working with Queries.

If I run this command ClearCollect(CollectionName; '[dbo].[MyTableName']) this works fine, since this is SQL Server Table, but if I run the same code, but replacing the TableName to a QueryName (This query has a join with another table), doesn't work.

The command I'm trying to run is ClearCollect(CollectionName; '[dbo].[MyQueryName']).

Does anyone know why this works with Tables but not with MS SQL-Server Queries?

Thank you.

Paulo.

Can you share a bit more information on how you are defining your "query"?  Is this defined as a View or what have you set it up as on the SQL side?
