Link between browsegalley

Hello,

I have two sharepoint lists:

  1. command headers
  2. Command lines

These list are linked by command number.

First I display browsegallery from headers and when one is selected display details with a link to second browsegallery containing command lines.

But the second browsegallery displays all the lines not filtered by command number.

How to improve this?

Thank you

Re: Link between browsegalley

Hi,

You will need to use Filter to filter the items of the second gallery based on the selection made in the first one.

The function would look something like this:

Filter('Command lines', commandNumber = Gallery1.Selected.CommandNumber)

 - where 'Command lines' is the SharePoint List name, 'commandNumber' is the column name and Gallery1 is the name of the firt gallery.

This function should be used in the Items property of the second gallery.

Hope this helps Smiley Happy if you need further help, please post back.

Re: Link between browsegalley

Hi,

It works with this:

Filter('Command lines', StartsWith(commandNumber, Gallery1.Selected.CommandNumber.Text))

Thank you for your help.
