Thumbnail Layout

Trying to create a employee directory using PowerApps and having a hard time trying to create a growing gallery that grows virtically but expands left to right. not sure it's possible, but I want something similar to tiles view in SharePoint document libraries / lists, where I have it take up the width of the screen, then next line has that man, so you basically have 4 across, then line, then line and you scroll.

Anyway, is this just not possible and I have to use basic verticle gallery, or is there some obvious creative option or method for doing this?

Re: Thumbnail Layout

Hi @cwebb365 ,

Can you please try adding a Vertical Gallery and change the Wrap Count to desired number.

*Wrap Count - Number of items shown per row or column based on horizontal or vertical layout

Re: Thumbnail Layout

Yah that just shrinks everything and it still wants to scroll right. I have an idea and seems like it might work I just have to do the math.

Trying to put a horizontal gallery in a vertical and using a filter to show 4 at a time down the gallery. So going to have to do some kind of collection and label rows based on item count, but I think it might work. Thought their might be a built in easy way but doesn't seem like it, but I think this might do the trick.

Re: Thumbnail Layout

Hi @cwebb365 ,

I'm not entirely sure if there is currently an OOTB solution for this. But you can try doing a nested gallery as you suggested.

Re: Thumbnail Layout

Yeah, that's basically sort of the approach I'm taking but having to split up the thumbnails to some row counting. Thanks for the ideas.

Hi @cwebb365 ,

Have you solved your problem?

I agree with your thought, I think a Horizontal layout Gallery could achieve your needs. Please check and see if my response within the following thread would also help in your scenario:
