Re: saving signature image to sharepoint

Hi @roncam,

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the Refresh function could achieve your needs.

After you change your Signature image within your SP library, please take a try to add the following formula:

Refresh('YourSPLibrary')

Or

you could consider add the following formula within the OnVisible property of the screen which contains the Gallery control:

Refresh('YourSPLibrary')

More details about the Refresh function in PowerApps, please check the following article:

Refresh function

In addition, you could also consider take a try to add a Timer control within your app, then set the Duration property to following:

1000

Set the AutoStart property to following:

true

Set the Repeat property to following:

true

Set the OnTimerEnd property to following:

Refresh('YourSPList') /* <- Refresh your data source every 1 second */

Best regards,

Kris

Re: saving signature image to sharepoint

Hi @roncam,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

How do you create your signature image within your app? Using Pen Input control?

Further, do you want to upload your signature image into your SP library?

If you want to upload an signature image (created via Pen Input control) to your SP library, I afraid that there is no direct way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

As an alternative solution, you could consider take a try to create a custom connector within your PowerApps to achieve your needs.

The user @tech18 has faced same issue with you, please check the response within the following thread:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Pen-input-save-image-to-SharePoint/td-p/81575

More details about uploading images created via Add Picture control or Pen Input control to SP library, plase check and see if the following blog would help in your scenario:

http://repointtechnologies.com/saving-images-from-powerapps-to-sharepoint/

I have also made a test on my side, the screenshot as below:1.JPG

The uploaded Signature image in my SP library as below:2.JPG

More details about custom connector in PowerApps, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/register-custom-api

Best regards,

Kris

Re: saving signature image to sharepoint

Hi @roncam,

Do you want to display signature images from your SP library within your app?

If you want to display signature images from your SP library within your app, I think the Gallery control (consists of Image control) could achieve your needs.

I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:12.JPG

13.JPG

On your side, you should add a connection to your SP library from your app. Then add a Gallery control (consists of Image control) within the screen of your app.

Set the Items proeprty of the Gallery to following:

'YourSPLibrary'

Set the Image property of the Image control within the Gallery to following:

ThisItem.'Link to item'

Best regards,

Kris

Re: saving signature image to sharepoint

An easy and multi-purpose solution is found to add pen-input to Sharepoint/Email/PDF by utilizing the addition of a PowerApps Json functionality added on 02/05/2019.

The Short description on how to make this work is to save the pen input image in a JSON format asking the JSON function to include Binary Data:

Set( PenVar, JSON( PenInput1.Image,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData ) );
