Business card reader is not working correctly

Hi,

 

I created an app linked with CDS. Everything is working fine. I added a Business Card Reader. When i'm testing it with my admin account it works just fine but when I'm using an user account (who has the privileges to use the entities) a error message is showing up just after the image is loading.

Have the users either 1) been assigned the CDS User security role or 2) have read access to the AI Model entity?

Hi @BryanM ,

Please check these points:

1)This component is not supported in Internet Explorer.

2)To use this function, user need license of PowerApps P1or P2.

3)To use this function, user need read and write pemission of Note entity.

Hi @v-yutliu-msft,

 

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, we are using Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement (so we have a powerapps license as well), we are use the Powerapps app not internet explorer. Finaly, the users have the right to Write and Read on Note and Lead.

Hi @BryanM ,

For now, only users have PowerApps P1 or P2 license can use this function.

Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement license is not enough.
