CDS 2-way data communication to SharePoint

Hello,

I am trying to use SharePoint list data in PowerApps Portal using CDS. Currently its like you populdated data from ShaerPoint and now it's in CDS. Through Portal, I can add/update data to CDS but that stays in CDS only. how can I push back data to SharePoint list.

Thanks, Keval

Re: CDS 2-way data communication to SharePoint

Ok I tried this way so while using PowerApps Portals data is in CDS so once user entered data to CDS through portal, I triggered MS Flow which enters data to SharePoint list when new record is created in CDS.

Re: CDS 2-way data communication to SharePoint

Hi @Keval ,

PowerApps can be connected to SharePoint list and update the data directly, you do not need CDS connector during the process. If you insist on doing it in this way, then I think this cannot be achieved so far.

Re: CDS 2-way data communication to SharePoint

Hello Mona,

thanks for your reply.

Basically I dont need for direct communication with SharePoint list but as you know for "PowerApps Portals"(https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerapps-portals-is-now-available-for-public-preview/) there is only one way to communicate is using Entity which is using CDS only. so From "PowerApps Portals" I can insert data to CDS even as anonymous user or external user but I am wondering if I need that CDS new entered data to SharePoint list then how can I do that?

Thanks, Keval
