In the Common Data Service, we are able to create our own entities, based on data from a SQL Database for example. HOW does CDS store and retain data from a SQL Database in which the data is scheduled to refresh daily?
Example: Client A, Client B, Client C. Custom column added,. "Client has been contacted".
On a specific day Client B was contacted.
Client Client has been contacted
Client B Yes
On the second day, after CDS has refreshed source data, HOW does CDS know that Client B was contacted, and retain that "Yes" we contacted them?
Can you please confirm if you have entities created in the CDS and you are referring to them in your app.
Also, does data gets refreshed means, that all the data has been wiped out?
As a suggestion, you can add a date attribute in your entity, so that you can store the day and the Yes/No value corresponding to it. Through this, you can directly get the record based on a client on a specific data using Filter() query.

How do you load data from your SQL Table into the CDS Entity within your PowerApps? Using Data Integration project?
If you use Data Integration project to load Data from your SQL Table to your CDS Entity, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs. The duplicated record with same Client value would be overrided with values from your SQL Table.
Please share more details about your scenario, so we could provide a proper workaroud for you.
