CDS Row Limits

Hello everyone,

I used Get Data to load data from a "Table" within an Excel file stored in OneDrive.  This "Table" has 4000 records. However, only 2000 records were imported into my CDS entity.  I thought there is no row limit in CDS.  Please advice.

Thanks,

Lilian

Re: CDS Row Limits

Hi @v-yutliu-msft,

Thanks for responding. I couldn't find anything that would help me in the links you shared.

So I tried another option. What I found out was when I import data from a "Worksheet" not "Table" in Excel, all of the records (more than 2000) would be imported correctly.

So looks like there is a limit when getting data from a "Table" in Excel.

Thanks,

Lilian

Re: CDS Row Limits

Hi @lseow ,

Actally, there's no limit in CDS when getting data from excel.

Here's a issue for your reference:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Common-Data-Service-for-Apps/CDS-Technical-Limits/td-p/115886

Please check:

1)whether other people open the excel file/CDS when you importing data

2)whether you have these three data type fields:

  • Timezone
  • Multiselect option set
  • Image

These are not limited in importing data.

Please refer this to see whether you have made any mistake:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/data-platform-import-export
