Re: CDS Version / Upgrade

There is more than one document. Gotta read them all. :-)

You will find that we have had to use a number of less than ideal methods to get this working ASAP. There are people who are desperate to upgrade ASAP.  The changes you expect to see in the UI will come early next year. For now, we are trying to allow those who are blocked to get by.

Hey @GringoInMiami,

I found this in the article that was referred to you, is this what you were looking for?:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/common-data-service/upgradecds/upgrade-overview

Re: CDS Version / Upgrade

Ugh...typical Microsoft. One would think an article titled "Overview of the upgrade process" would include the steps. But no, it has to be a scavenger hunt for the info needed.

Re: CDS Version / Upgrade

Unfortunately, no. That is where I thought I would find the info but apparently Microsoft has made it more complicated than that.

Re: CDS Version / Upgrade

There is a table of contents on the left side. A total of 8 topics all included as a group.

Are you not seeing these:

These were just published, so perhaps Ctrl+F5 to refresh your browser?

Re: CDS Version / Upgrade

What if you have users who have apps or flows, but have left the organisation? How do you upgrade them to proceed with Step 3. of the upgrade?

Seems upgrade fails if not all apps and flows have been upgraded.

Can Admins force or do the upgrades on behalf of the users? Thanks!
