Cannot use assign record action in workflow

I’m trying to create a workflow for a BPF in my model driven app using cds and the assign record step cant be selected.

cant figure out why this is not available?  Any assistance would be appreciated.  I’ve never had any issues with this in dynamics crm 365 when creating workflows?

Re: Cannot use assign record action in workflow

Hi @Cds_dvg ,

According to below documentation, this should be avaiable.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/guide-staff-through-common-tasks-processes

You can assign the record that the workflow is running on, any of the records linked to that record with an N:1 relationship, or any records created by earlier steps.

Please share more details about your issue and maybe take a screenshot. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.

Regards,

Mona
