Customer Data type field not appearing in designer

Hi,

I'm tyring to insert the Customer field of Case entity in Dynamics using CDS.

However this field Customer is not appearing as available fields in the list of fields in the designer.

If I choose Dynamics CRM as connector instead of CDS, the Customer field will be available in the designer.

Can you help in this?

Thanks,

Bilal

Re: Customer Data type field not appearing in designer

Hi @bilalghalayini ,

Could you please test your entity with open in excel and see whether your customer type is available?

Re: Customer Data type field not appearing in designer

Dear Yumina,

I followed your steps and I can see the field Customer in the Excel. However in PowerApps designer it is still not appearing.

Can you make sure if you go to designer, you will be able to select this field and send me a screenshot?

Thanks,

Bilal

Re: Customer Data type field not appearing in designer

Where are you trying to add the field? If I access an Entity from make.poweraps.com and select to add a field I see Customer as an option for a data type.
