Basic question: I've 3 tables. A, B, C.
C(ID_A, ID_B, Quantity)
The table C has 2 many to one relationships, one for A and one for B.
The table C use this 2 relationships as composite primary key (CDS seems to generate automatically two fields for this, once the relationships are set, so I've skipped this part).
Now, what's the right way to make this with entities? I've created A and B. They both have an autoincrement ID as primary key.
Then I've created C, BUT I've to define a primary field; I've used Quantity, unfortunetly I can only set this field as "Text", instead I'd like to have "number".
Am I doing this the right way? Sorry I'm new in Powerapps world.
Many thanks in advance.
Hi @Jumpa ,
Did you mean that you want to set the primary field to number field when you create the entity? Please see the explaination:
Hi @v-monli-msft , thanks for your support, and sorry for the late reply.
Ok I've understood what a primary field is, but I've a join table and I need a numeric field (creating an entity in CDS, I can only choose TEXT data type).
e.g. Table Order_Articles
Quantity (this is the only "real" field)
