Import data from cloudera hadoop system into CDS

I am looking for a way to connect my data lake residing in cloudera to Common Data Service. Is there any way I could connect to Hive/Impala? Please help.

Re: Import data from cloudera hadoop system into CDS

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to import data from cloudera hadoop system into CDS Entity?

Currently, the Hadoop (Hive/Impala) connector is not supported within PowerApps, if you want to connect to your hadoop system to your CDS Entity, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Re: Import data from cloudera hadoop system into CDS

Hi @Anonymous ,

Does the cloud hadoop system provide a proper REST API?

If the cloud hadoop system that you mentioned provides a proper REST API, you could consider create a custom connector within your PowerApps based on the corresponding REST API to achieve your needs.

More details about creating custom connector in PowerApps, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/register-custom-api
