Move data along with attachments from Custom Entity to Account Entity based on status in a flow

Hello

I have a custom entity with data and attachments. When the data is approved I want to move the data with attachments to Account Entity.

I enabled attachments in custom entity. I am able to save it through my powerapps application.

I am able to move data from custom entity to Account using the flows. I am not able to access the attachments saved for each record in the custom entity in my flow.

Can anybody suggest how to transfer the attachments from custom entity along with other fields data

Thanks And With Regards

Partha

Re: Move data along with attachments from Custom Entity to Account Entity based on status in a flow

Hi @kbpartha24 ,

Did you mean that you cannot get the attachments from PowerApps to flow? If so, then so far this cannot be achieved. If you need this, please consider to add an idea in below forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

Or you can move the data from within PowerApps directly. You can make the data you want to move from the 1st entity shown in edit form, and then use Patch function to patch a new record to the 2nd entity.

For more information about Patch, please refer to:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-patch

Hi @kbpartha24 ,

The formula should be similar to:

Patch('CDS Table',Defaults('CDS Table'),
         {CDSColumn1: TextInput.text,CDSColumn2:DatePicker1.SelectedDate,...})
