It seems that new records created via a powerapp are not always visible in the entity data tab of CDS.
Not present in following views (upper right corner):
- all fields
- custom fields
- advanced find view
- associated view
- lookup view
When I use the 'edit data in excel' funtionality, the records are also present.
Why are they not always present? Is there some kind of filter working behind the scenes?

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?
Do you mean that the new added records via PowerApps app could not be displayed within some specific views of your CDS Entity?
Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned.
Please consider take a try to clear cache of your browser, then sign in PowerApps again, go your CDS Entity, check if the records has been displayed.
Also please consider take a try to click "Refresh data" option within your CDS Entity as below:
then check if the new added records has been displayed within your CDS Entity.
