PowerApps Export Data - Dates in Wrong Format but CDS showing Correct Format

Hi,
I Hope someone can help!
I have created a powerapp application which links to the CDS Entity and when i view the Entity all the dates are in the correct format (DD/MM/YYYY).

BUT.....When i export the data to Excel the dates then appear in the wrong format (MM/DD/YYYY)

Is there some settings or something that needs to be amended?

Please Help

Steve

Re: PowerApps Export Data - Dates in Wrong Format but CDS showing Correct Format

@sskinner - Since CDS has the correct date format, have you checked your local computer's system date format? I believe Excel (or Office suite for that matter) uses your local computer date/time format by default.

On a side note, the CDS date/time format can be updated in your Personal Options.

Re: PowerApps Export Data - Dates in Wrong Format but CDS showing Correct Format

Hi,

I have checked my PC's system Settings and these were set as expected / Correct - Please see attached.

I was already aware of the Personal Options - but many thanks for confirming.

Any other ideas what can be causing this and how we can correct this?

Kind Regards

Steve
