Security on notes

I created model driven app contains time line notes, Is there a way to add permission to certain business units or users on these notes.

Hi @memadAldien ,

I suggest you create an entity that contains the information of users.

For example, record the users' email and permission.

And then set this part's Visible:

If(LookUp(entityname,Email=User().Email,permission)="admin",true,false)
//if current user is admin, then he can view this part, or else not

Please remember connect this app with the entity that records the information of users.

 The timeline control displays data from 3 different entities: Notes, Activities and Posts. You can grant permissions to users (via security roles) for each of these 3 entities. Note that, for activties, the same permission level applies for all activity types (eg. email, appointment, task)
