Struggling with One-to-Many Gallery

I tried following this blog post

And I googled around and searched the forums, but it seems I'm having some very peculiar behavior.

I have an entity in CDS "Supplier" and need a way for a user to a log entry for when they interact with a supplier. So I made a One to Many relationship with the "Log" entity. So in theory, having BrowseGallery1(Suppliers).Selected.Logs should give me the logs associated with the selected supplier. But when put into the Items attribute I receive no error at all and no records or data populate Gallery2. The other odd thing is that the Formula bar lets me auto fill for each BrowseGallery1, Selected, and Logs.

Looking for a nudge in the correct direction...

Hi @DroningOn ,

Have you turned the below setting one? Go to the File menu, App settings, Advanced settings, scroll to end of the list, and turn this switch on:

Re: Struggling with One-to-Many Gallery

Hi Mona, @v-monli-msft

Thanks for your quick response! I checked there for an experimental features toggle. But mine doesn't seem to have that option. The last one listed is Enable Formula Bar Result View. I have a preview feature called Relational Data, Option Sets, and other new Features for CDS; and it is set to active.

Maybe I need to update the CDS instance?

Re: Struggling with One-to-Many Gallery

So I figured I'd try to test out this idea in a fresh canvas app. I connected to my Supplier Entity, made a new gallery screen and set Items to BrowseGallery1.Selected.Logs and it's working. I'd rather not have to rebuild my entire app. Also I'd like to understand what would be blocking it from working correctly in my app.
