I have started the upgrade process, but am unsure where to go from here as I cannot see a "Test" CDS database anywhere nor the "test" appliction that was created during the first step in the upgrade process.
There was a flash of an app that had an "_1" designation on all the data source connections, but after clicking "Save" like the instructions suggested, that app is no longer available to view and the last version that is saved is connected to the CDS v1 database from what I can tell (no more _1 suffix on the end of the entity name).
Could you please share more details about the error message when you upgrade your CDS?
The "First Step" of upgrading CDS within PowerApps Admin Center is used to create a test database. The test database is used to copy your previous CDS database (CDS1.0). Currently, we could not see/view the test database within our PowerApps environment during the first step of upgrade process.

There is no error message per sé. The issue is that I cannot just switch between upgrading the CDS 1.0 app and the CDS 2.0 draft TEST app.
Once the page times out, it basically refreshes and I lose all of the changes I made to the draft TEST app. Even if I manually save the draft TEST app, it does not retain the changes that have been made. This is problematic for large apps.
For example, yesterday I worked on the application for about 8 hours and fixed over 800 "formulas" after I clicked the "I'm ready" button to setup the draft app.
I saved the app, and it timed out overnight.
Now coming back to the app this morning, I went to open the saved version from yesterday and PowerApps setup a new version of the app and lost all of the work I did yesterday. Also there is no way to know what current version of the app I'm working on.
