implement upsert entity record from data from azure event hub

HI,

is it possible to upsert a record in a custom entity  from data from azure event hub. In my scenario, i have a LOB which publishes data on event hub, i want CDS for apps to listen for event and then do upsert.

In my scenario

i have a CDS for apps plugin, which on creation of Entity1 record, will publish the data to event hub. my LOB listen to event hub and then generate a new event (for Entity2) on event hub (and not service bus), which i want CDS for apps to listen and insert.

Thanks

Re: implement upsert entity record from data from azure event hub

Hi @guru1 ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want the CDS for Apps to monitor/listen for events within your Azure Event Hub, and then do upsert?

The Monitor/Listen functionality is not supported within CDS for Apps, if you want the  the CDS for Apps to monitor/listen for events within your Azure Event Hub, and then do upsert, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added within PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:
