The purpose of the app is to showcase the use of API in the application and fetch the data in powerapps. As API has a lot more power and flexibility these days you can create a robust, dynamic, and responsive app with the use of any API you want.  This app uses HTTP requests to GET the list of movies, list of TV shows, list of genres and sort them based on the selected released date.  You can also watch any trailer which is uploaded on YouTube at present, further there will be many other platforms added.
