An action failed. No dependent actions succeeded.

Hello guys, It's my first time using Microsoft Flow and I have sort of hit a dead end.

I am trying to automate sending emails to fellow employees on their birthdays.

I scaled the first 2 stages but the test failed in the last 2.

Please what could be the reason and what possible solution can help me.

I will appreciate your help. Please find screenshot below.

Re: An action failed. No dependent actions succeeded.

Hi @Signiore,

Could you share more details on the Condition? What is the function being used in the function?

According to your description, it seems that you would like to send out an email to employees on their birthdays.

I have made the following test for your reference.

Add a proper trigger. I am using a Button trigger for testing, you could just change it to Recurrence so that it could run daily.

Get items from the list which contains three columns, Title of type text, Birthday of type Date and time, and Employee of type Person and group.

Add action Filter array with the following code to filter out employees that birthdays equal to Today:

@equals(formatDateTime(item()?['Birthday'], 'MM-dd'), utcnow('MM-dd'))

Add an Apply to each, select output Body from Filter array. Then send an email to corresponding employees. Input the following code in the To field to get the email address of the employee:

item()?['Employee']?['Email']
