Connecting to Dynamics 365 entity and then export to Sharepoint

Hi guys!

So, what I'm trying to achieve here is to use Microsoft Flow to extract entity data or custom view to a Sharepoint List or extract the details inside an Excel file that's sitting in Sharepoint.

My ultimate motive is to connect to either the sharepoint list or the excel file through Power BI and build reports.

Can this be done? Willing to hear about alternatives to this approach as well!

Thanks heaps!

Hi @K_Zarar ,

According to your description, you want to extract entity data to a SharePoint List or extract the details inside an Excel file that's sitting in SharePoint.

First what you need to do is building a list or creating an Excel file in SharePoint.

I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:

For a test, I used the Manually trigger, you can choose the Trigger you want.

As shown below, ‘Create Item’ is to extract the data to the list and ‘Add a row into a table’ is to extract the data to Excel, you can choose one of them.
