I am trying to use the prebuilt flow to pull activities from D365 sales to planner

https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/bba77270373f11e7870df906aa521b7a/dyna...

the get record organization name is failing claiming that the organization name is not correct.

Where do i find the correct value inside D365 Sales?

Re: D365 flow to planner

Hi @iruser2,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Further, could you please show a bit more about your error message?

The issue is confirmed on my side, I think there is something issue with the "Dynamics Activities to Planner Tasks" built-in template of Microsoft Flow.

You could consider take a try to create your flow from scratch to achieve same effect, I have made a test on my side and please take a try with the following workaround:

  • Add a "When a record is created" trigger, specify Organization Name and Entity Name.
  • Add a "List records" action, specify Organization Name, Entity Name set to Users.
  • Add a "Filter array" action, From set to output of "List records" action, left input box set to User dynamic content of "List records" action, right input box set to Created By dynamic content of the trigger, within middle drop down, choose is equal to.

    In addition, you could also click "Edit in advanced mode", type the following formula:
@equals(item()?['systemuserid'], triggerBody()?['_createdby_value'])
  • Add a "Apply to each", input parameter set to output of "Filter array" action.
  • Within "Apply to each" action, add a "Create a task" action, Assigned User Id field set to following formula:
item()?['internalemailaddress']

The flow works successfully as below:19.JPG
