Hello,

I am new to PowerApps and would like to start using it, but why can't I connect it to my Sharepoint site?

Re: Error: We Couldn't Access Your Data.

Hi @csa10,

Could you please share more details about your error message within your PowerApps app?

Which SharePoint does your PowerApps app connect to? Local SharePoint or SharePoint online?

I have made a test on my side (connect to SharePoint online) and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The user @smarguin26 has faced similar issue with you, please check the following thread:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Discussion/Cannot-connect-to-sharepoint-online/td-p/1766...

Please also check if you have provided proper SharePoint Site URL when you connect to SharePoint Site within your PowerApps app, the standard format of the SharePoint site URL as below:

https://microsoft.sharepoint.com/teams/Contoso

On my side, I type the following SharePoint Site URL:

https://xxxxxx.sharepoint.com/sites/PowerApps

Note: The 'xxxxxx' represents domain, the PowerApps represents SharePoint Site Name. The SharePoint Site URL could not contain the List name.

More details about creating an PowerApps app from SharePoint, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/app-from-sharepoint

More details about connecting to SharePoint from PowerApps, please check the following article:

Connect to SharePoint from PowerApps

Best regards,

Kris
