File System - Can't connect on 'List files in folder'

I have defined a connection to a local file system using an on-premise gateway.

I know this connection works as I have an active flow that connects to that loaction once a day.

The action I use for the valid connection is 'Create File'

I am now trying to create a new flow using the action 'List files in folder' using the same local file system connection.

When I create the flow I get the following error:

The caller with object id 'xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx' does not have permission for connection '/providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_filesystem/connections/shared-filesystem-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx' under Api 'shared_filesystem'.

Re: File System - Can't connect on 'List files in folder'

Hi @SamPo,

Just from the error message, it should be permission related.

Please first take a check with the connection permission, make sure the Account you used to create the new flow has the permission to access the gateway.

Further, verify the local system and make sure there is no policy restricting the access.

Re: File System - Can't connect on 'List files in folder'

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your response. This connection is already in use (and works) from the same account and to the exact same location so I know for certain that the relevant permissions are assigned. Within the same flow creation if I choose the action 'create file' and select this connection then the flow creates successfully yet if I switch the action to 'list files' with the same connection only then does the error appear.

@v-micsh-msft Do you have any other ideas regarding this error?
