Filter on DATE value

Hi,

I am having issuing showing the value from the PowerApps gallery based on following coding:

SortByColumns(Search(Filter('[dbo].[EbillingLog]', company = Trim(selectedComp) && log_status = 2 && DateValue(Text(DateAdd(submission_date,TimeZoneOffset(),Minutes),DateTimeFormat.ShortDate), "en") =
DateValue(Trim(selectedDate),"en")), txtSearchWO.Text, "reference", "unit_number", "subsystem_code", "line_description"), "reference", SortOrder.Ascending)

This coding in "items" method of Gallery works when it was last week, it is not working anymore due to the start of november. I am thinking the format doesn't work when format show "11/6/2019" instead of "11/06/2019", is there any way to properly filter on date value or string?

Thank you very much!

Dan
