Flow IP address range

If Yammer network is configured to only allow login from specific IP address ranges, is there a range for 'Flow' to add to the allowed list to enable it interact with Yammer?

Hi ant_oco,

As far as I know, after you configured Yammer network to only allow login from specific IP address ranges, if any user attempts to login from a browser that is outside the specified range you have set, they will not be able to access the network.

Flow accesses data from Yammer only with connections, if your network cannot access Yammer, then Flow cannot get the connection, which means that you will failed to create a Flow interacting with Yammer. In that case, my personal opinion is that you don’t need additional setting in Flow to limit it to interact with Yammer.

In addition, Flow doesn’t have such built-in setting as Yammer to restrict the network’s IP range so far. If you want to submit your feedback, you are always welcomed to tell us what you think in our Flow Ideas Forum:

Our Yammer network is configured to only allow login from specific IP address ranges. What I need to know is; what new specific IP addresses should I add (in Yammer) to allow connections from Flow? Thanks.

Hi ant_oco,

There is not specific IP addresses you need to add in Yammer to allow connections from Flow. The connections are guaranteed after you sign in your Yammer while you create flows in Flow, and do not need other addition settings.

I also use IP address restriction for a Cloud SQL database at present and wondering whether there is a CIDR range that I could open up to allow Flow to work. Guess that woudl require flow to have a predefined set fo external IP addresses. Must eb a fair few peopel in this situation I figrue.

The connection works but the following error occurs when the flow runs;

Body

{ "response": { "stat": "fail", "code": 17, "message": "Request made from non-blessed ip address." } }

The flow runs succesfully when the "Allow login" option from outside specified IP ranges is set in Yammer Settings > Network Admin > Security Settings.

So the question is what IP range can be added to allow the flow to run scuccessfully when "Deny login" option is set?
