Flow access to SP user profiles & properties

Does somebody know whether it's possible to access data from the following list from within Flow  https://domain.sharepoint.com/_vti_bin/listdata.svc ? Which method & what to search for(URL, SP object,...) ?

Purpose > while accessing the list we can determine who's new in the organisation and let Flow automatically send a personalised  'Welcome' HTML mail.

In addition would it also be possible to update custom profile fields using Flow?

Hi @EricDeferm,

Could you provide more explanation about your needs?

Do you want to know how to access the URL you provide through Flow or monitor who is accessing a particular list?

Also if you want to get the details of a member of an organization, you could try Get user profile action.

Through this action, you could get the corresponding user's email, and configure the obtained email in Send an email action.

And configure the HTML code in the Body, select Yes in the Is html field to send the welcome message.

Best Regards,

Barry

Tx @v-bacao-msft for your prompt reply. What do we want to achieve?  Our main objective is to send a welcome message to new hires by checking the creation of new accounts in Azure AD (if they get a mail box) or Office 365 user account. Currently we have a manual process in place in the sense that we've created a Power BI dashboard that shows the new hires on a weekly basis. From Power BI we export a CSV file, which is then used in combination with a Word document to start a Mailing for sending a personalised email to the new hire using Outlook Desktop App. We want to replace this manual process with an automated process. I've figured out how to send a personalised HTML mail using MS Flow, but encounter difficulties to determine or retrieve a list of new hires on a weekly/daily basis by accessing Office 365 user list or Azure AD. Any method to retrieve a list of new users within MS Flow would do the things for us. Tx.

I admit that the timing of my question (just before Xmas holidays) could be better. Hence a short reminder in the hope that someone has a bright idea/alternative way/method to achieve what we're looking for. I'm happy to investigate several options when having a good starting point. No clue yet which approach would best fit our goals, could be:

- schedule Powershell command to retrieve list of new hires on daily basis and send HTML mail

- MS Flow retrieving data from AD or O365 user list

- anything else?

Tx & brgds.
