Get Manager V2 Request: Bad_Request

I realize that Get Manager uses Azure AD and I have verified that my User has a Manager in A-AD and that that Manager ID is valid, but my workflow fails with :

My UPN seems correct: i:0#.f|membership|myname@mydomain.com

The upn would be of the curtrent user, not hard coded.  I used "Created By Claims"

 

I got it to work, by first using the Get Profile action with the "Created By Claims".  Then I used the Get Manager action using the UPN, although that didn't seem to be in any of the examples I was working from.  As soon as I did that it worked.

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Further, could you please show more details about the error message?

 

The User (UPN) field of the "Get Manager (V2)" action is required to fill the User Principal Name or the email address of a user (Office 365 User). In default, the User Principal Name (UPN) of a user has same value with the email address of a user.

 

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned. My flow's configuration as below:17.JPG

Please take a try to type the email address of your User within the User (UPN) field of the "Get Manager (V2)" action, then check if the issue is solved.
