Issue With Flow Updates for SharePoint List

I was settings up a custom action in Flow to update a List every time a new item was added, and keep getting an Output Error “Bad Gateway” for the Flow Output.

I can tell that it is registering the addition of a new file, however it is not wanting to process the update to the list.

The list I created has a custom ID column that is set with parameters to add 400 to the ID value and Prefix it with a custom acronym.

The new Item ID values kept getting set to 400 instead of 403-404-405 etc.

However, when I go to the list settings and select the Change Request ID Field and simply press the *Okay* button on the form, I can return to the Change Request List and see that the fields had been updated with the proper corresponding ID instead of just "CR-400".

That was essentially the solution I’m trying to Automate with Flow, if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Issue With Flow Updates for SharePoint List

@Karrde- as I understand it, you have a text column in your list and want Flow to populate that column with a custom prefix (ABC-) followed by the ID plud 400.

Can you post a screen shot of your Flow?
