Multi-Select Option set is not returning the labels when used "When a record is updated" trigger in Dynamics 365 entity

Hi there,

I have been trying to create a flow using "when a record is updated" in dynamics 365 opportunities entity. We have a multi-select optionset field "Produt" in the opportunity record. The JSON respon is returning only the multi-select field values associated with the opportunity reord, but it is not returning the labels. We need those labels to populate in the email which will come later in the flow. But "product" field in the json is having it's value  like "64003000" where as the "product label" is empty. Can somebody please help me on how to retreive the Multi-select field labels along with the values on "when a record is updated" trigger?

Thanks in advance,

Venu

Hi @vallamreddyvenu,

You should add an action named Get record or Get record (Preview), so you can get the dynamic content of the entity record was updated.Annotation 2019-08-28 101733.png

Thanks for your reply.

I even tried "Get Record". The response also doesn't contain the labels for multi-select field values selected on the record.

For the simple optionsets the response contains both value and labels where as for multi-select optionsets it has only value, but no label.

Thanks,

If you haven't sorted this already, have you tries using the CDS (current environment) connector?\

This should give you the option to select the multiselect field. The issue you'll find then is parsing the answers out is that they will use the values and not the labels of your mulitoption set [6430001, 6430002, etc.].

You'll need to convert these if the values aren't consistent.
