On-Premise Gateway not showing Authentication Type

Hello, I am experimenting with the On-Premises Data Gateway in Flow. I have it installed on an on-premises computer, and all indications show that is is working because I can see it as an available gateway when logging into Flow. My issue is, when I create a New Connection, I am not sure what to enter for the Authentication Type field. I am using SQL Authentication, so I tried entering SQL and that didn't work. I have seen screenshots of this page, and it seems like it is supposed to be a dropdown box? How can I fix this?

Forgot to mention, this is when adding a SQL Server connection.

Re: On-Premise Gateway not showing Authentication Type

Hi @Kevin2,

The available Authentication type for SQL Server is:

Windows

Basic

Here Basic refers to SQL authentication only.

Using Flow with on-premises data and applications

Currently when adding SQL Server connection under Microsoft Flow, the Authentication type is not offered as selected option (confirmed from my side).

You may try to add a SQL Server connection through PowerApps Connections page.

Connect to your on-premises data sources from PowerApps using on-premises data gateway

PowerApps and Microsoft share the same connection.

I will collect this as a feedback.

Thanks & regards,

Michael
