Privacy Violation alerts for my flows

Hi,

This is really random, but over night, I have woken up to all my apps claiming to have privacy Violations. I don't get how that has changed over night.
I can't even use flows that transfer between my personal office home 365 outlook.com calendar and Google let alone my work one.
I have no access to an admin centre either so can't even correct the issue. Why has all my flows suddenly stopped working?

?please help

Hi @freakypeach,

How to understand the "I have woken up to all my apps claiming to have privacy Violations" that you mentioned?

Could you please share more details about your issues?

Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Privacy Violation alerts for my flows

Hi @freakypeach,

It sounds like your admins may have created DLP policies which block some of the behavior of your flows. When that happens, such flows are suspended.

Please reach out to your admins to see about loosening these policies - maybe in a special environment if they're concerned about data leakage and your use case is suitable for an exception.

As admins, they should be able to see flows which make use of various connectors inside the admin portal. The hope is that they validate that policies will not disrupt flows before creating them - but once a dlp policy is created, we respect them.

Best,

Travis

Re: Privacy Violation alerts for my flows

This was what my research lead me too.

However, it is not just my work office 365 account that has been affected.

So has my home 365 and google account, so even though they are my personal accounts i cannot use my flows.

I cannot access the admin site to correct this.

Many thanks for responses

Re: Privacy Violation alerts for my flows

Hi @freakypeach,

If you author flows under your organization account (where your org id is the flow owner) but you use your personal account for the connections, the dlp policies will still block flow execution.

Or are you having this issue while logged into flow with your personal account?

Do you have a flow url I can look at for the affected flow?

Thanks,

Travis

Re: Privacy Violation alerts for my flows

Hi,,

The issue is in my personal account, and it randomly happened overnight.

Unfortunately I cannot share the flow, so not sure how i can link  you to a URL.

Many kind regards.

Re: Privacy Violation alerts for my flows

Hi @freakypeach,

Just the url alone for the flow details page is sufficient for me to investigate without you explicitly sharing the flow with me.

Thanks,

Travis

Re: Privacy Violation alerts for my flows

Hi, here is the URL.

https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/manage/environments/b68c8fbf-5083-4ece-af72-e1a98fc1eb63/flows/de965...

Also, another issue I noticed was that when events were altered, i ended up with multiple copies in my calendar.

I did find a template for Office 365 to google sync, that seems to work really well but there is no equivelent template for office 365 to outlook.com?

All the best
