Problem parsing a file in the Face API

I'm trying to play with the new Face API, so when a new image file is dropped in a OneDrive folder, the Face API recognizes the face and add the output to a table in Excel.

But it doesn't seem that Face API is able to parse the file path output from OneDrive, ending up in a invalid file path error on every run. I've tried the same flow with Box files and same result.

Any suggestions?

Re: Problem parsing a file in the Face API

Hi Outlooknerd,

I guess that your flow is configured likes below:

I am not sure if the “File path” is supported in Detect faces action, I will try to confirm from my side and back to you.

Re: Problem parsing a file in the Face API

Hi Mabel

Yes, thats exactly my problem. Seems that the Face API needs the full URL, which is not provided by the OneDrive output.

Re: Problem parsing a file in the Face API

Hi all,

that is exactly my challenge now. The Face API needs a full URL to the Image but OneDrive cannot provide such a link.

Did you manage to solve this? I am experiencing the same problem... I have even directly referenced web URL files and get the same issue... can't for the life of me understand what is going on.

I'm having the same issue. I want to send an image taken from camera to FaceAPI and don't know how to send the image as URL.

I hope someone can help!
