Receiving error 302 when trying to access XML URL

Hello everyone,

I have to get some data from the website of the German trademark department (=DPMA).

For each brand they have an own URL, like here for Adidas:

https://register.dpma.de/DPMAregister/marke/register/887517/DE

In Power Automate I can also access this website with the HTTP connection. Sadly I cannot parse HTML Code in Power Automate, so this approach doesn't really work.

For each brand the data is also available as XML. Here the URL again for Adidas:

https://register.dpma.de/DPMAregister/marke/register?AKZ=887517&VIEW=st66

My problem is when I try to acces the XML-website of the entry I receive an error 302 without further information. The normal website works.

Does anyone have an idea why I cannot connect to the XML website? I read somewhere that it could be the missing user agent. Could this be true? How would I fix this?

Thank you and best regards

Re: Receiving error 302 when trying to access XML URL

Hi

According to this post, you can handle a 302 redirect scenario in flow and attempt to make a new HTTP request to the alternate location provided in the 302 response

Sorry I cannot play with the URL you provided since it requires registration.

Hope htis helps

Actually this post just redirects to as post that tells what an error 302 is.

But I still don't get how I fix it.

The URL provided doesn't require registration, it's open for everyone.
