Hi @ketyas

Is this error happening for newly created files?

Thanks

No its for all type of files. Actually yesterday i find out that problem is with "For Selected File" because it doesn't return fileID (or ID).

Its returning file name but not id....

Hi @ketyas ,

Please make sure that the Site Address and Library Name configured in the trigger and Get file properties action are the same.

When testing, please select a new file from Library to trigger Flow and see if a similar issue still exists.

Just try, didn't help. As i mention before this is problem with "For Selected Item" connector.

We also was trying on different SharePoint site.

That how looks body of wrong Selected Item:

{
  "text": "sd", <<- comment from trigger
  "entity": {
    "filePath": "/new/tymczasowy BI.xlsx",
    "fileUrl": "thereIsFileURL"
  }
}

And that is how looks body of proper trigger:

{
  "text": "sss",
  "entity": {
    "ID": 533,
    "itemURL": "thisIfFileURL",
    "fileName": "fileNameWithExtension",
    "FileId": "533"
  }
}

Hi @ketyas ,

Have you tried to create a new flow?

Or you could use Get file metadata using path to get the file identifier or ID first since that you could get the file path.

I have made a test on my side and I can get the correct ID from this trigger.

Is i was trying to create new flow (with only two steps). I was creating own flow and share with this user and then user create his own flow.

With both cases same result.

For me and others users this flow works fine, but for this one...

Anyway i'm right now creating workaround to get fileID by Get Files (Properties only) and file name from trigger.

If you need any help with the workaround, just ask.
