Sharepoint + Outlook Approval Chain Formatting

I am trying to create an approval email chain upon document submission via SharePoint List. The workflow will run differently depending on which division submits a document. I need to add a condition using dynamic content, in the form of a "division dropdown" choice column. When I put "test" as the value for the condition I receive the error below.

This is what the workflow looks like right now. I am assuming that the formatting of the value should be different, but if someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreacate the help!

Update: I decided to scratch the initial flow and rebuild. Rebuilding the test flow worked 1st run. Thanks 🙂

Hi Jordan,

I'm trying to reproduce your issue but mine runs successfully.

Please make sure that your "Choice" column type column is with the following settings:

With the above choice column, I create the below flow:

When I create a new item with selecting "test2", I received the approval email and got below result in flow:

0.PNG

Did you make sure that "test" is the included value in your choice column?

Regards,

Mona
