Trying to use flow to create a file in a SharePoint Document Library with read-only

I've created a simple button tigger for a test to upload an image from my pc and save it in a document library. This is working for me who is an admin for everything however my use case requires for the users to add the file to the libaray even though they have read only permissions on the SharePoint Library. Is there a work around?

Hi @elephant_33

No, a user will require write pemissions on any given SharePoint Library before they can add to it regarldless of method used to add that file/image.

Note: Theoretically a process could be implemented using Microsoft Graph or posting as another user who has write permissions, however, if you want a user to write to a library then you provide the permissions in SharePoint accordingly to do that.

Hi @elephant_33 ,

Try the following ways:

Step 1
Create a shared directory.
Install Gatway to access the shared directory from your nework.

Step 2: Flows Steps
1. FileSystem: When a file is created (Properties only)
2. FileSystem: File Content
3. SharePoint Create File
4. FileSystem: Delete File
