Weird behavior of CDS current connection

I have a very weird issue. I have one flow in Dev instance.
-CDS current is set User A
-Owner is also User A
-Run as is set as Process Owner

Now User B deploys the flow to Test instance using CRM solution deployment process
User A does not exist in Test Instance as its Dev User

-It shows no connections 😮
-Process Owner is User B who did the deployment
-Run as is set as process Owner

Ideally flow should error out as invalid connection. but Flow is running successfully, even though it does not have any connection.

How can this happen? Any idea?

Hi @VrushaliR 

Edit flow and expand the CDS action step. Check the connections? Is that showing the user A? A Screenshot is helpful. Of course you can obfuscate the email address.

Yes connection inside the step was using the owner's connection and no connection was shown in the Connections section. 

Now I changed the that connection with another user.
