send emails or reminders to external users

As flow can be integrated to external systems like salesforce and on premise systems can we use flow to send emails or reminders to external users(not licensed flow users)

Yes you can send email to external users. Have a look at Send email flow templates. There are couple available.

I think all the actions about "send an email" can be used to send emails and reminders to external users in Flow.

Hi, Mona.

 

I have created an approval flow that requires two levels of approval outside of my organization.  The Flow totally works when I test it inside my organization.  It is failing at the first external email address.  I have that email address pulling from a list I have created where the column is a "person".  Since the first recipient is not a O365 subscriber, the list does not recognize him as a User and the flow fails because it cannot display his name.  

 

I have added him as a member to the SharePoint site that he needs to visit to review what he must approve but that doesn't seem to help.  Any thoughts?
