Australia: Custom Connector failed to provision error when using C# code

Hi, i'm trying to write a custom connector in a Dataverse solution which simply executes some C# code (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/custom-connectors/write-code) but every time i try and create the connector (and i've tried in a couple of environments) i get the following error:

Failed to provision compute for custom code. Request failed with error 'Code: BadRequest. Message: Unable to find an unassigned function app in 'Australia East'.'. The tracking Id is '07e659df-8c60-4e1c-bbfb-d488f6bb02f7'.

Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this?

I'm sorry that I can't help you but I can confirm that I have exactly the same issue.  I too am in Australia.

I experienced the same error message when trying to create custom connector from power automate.
