Power Apps communicating with Windows server

Is there a WIndows API that Power Apps can communicate with? What I need to do is to launch a Windows Task defined in Task Scheduler.  Or is there an alternate way to do this?

I would assume that if this were possible, the server would have to host a gateway but have not been ale to locate any clues on how to do this, if it is at all possible.

Thanks.

This is possible using Power Automate Desktop (PAD), which has restrictions and requires an additional license cost. That said, you can trigger a task from the cloud that launches a PAD desktop flow that will run a command line command to manually launch a Task Scheduler task.

But that's about it. There is no Windows Server API that is exposed to Power Automate that can do this.
