Approval Status field in a List to get in to the powerapps

Team,

I have included the content approval field to the list and created a flow using powerapps button to send an approval email to approve or reject.

Now I want to get the approval status field to the powerapp Galllery but I am unable to see that field in my powerapps data source. (List name).

Is not it possible yet ?

Re: Approval Status field in a List to get in to the powerapps

Yes, content Approval (along with the version history) is currently not available.

You may consider rise it as an idea under PowerApps idea forum:

Re: Approval Status field in a List to get in to the powerapps

I finally did a good workaround which will definitely help you

1. Create a new drop down column in your sharepoint list say "Approval Update" give choices as Apprved, Rejected & Pending

2. Now go to flow, here Instead of using "set content approval" use "Update Item" (Point it to your "Approval Update column")

3. Now if your data is approved, Update Item as Approval Update item as Approved and vice versa..

Enjoy.. Smiley Happy

Hi @RonakVora

I did the dropdownlist for 'Approval Update', but I not sure where to put the status in 'Update Item' action. Can you explain more with example?
