Change Control Type from Combobox to Dropdown

Is it possible to easily change a combobox to a dropdown?  I'd prefer not to have to go into advanced settings, unlock it, add new, rebind, etc. Seems like something that should be easy to do, but is more difficult that it needs to be.

Thanks Robert. I believe that is the way to do it currently. I suggest that you log this in our Ideas board: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas so we can track and prioritize based on community feedback.

Re: Change Control Type from Combobox to Dropdown

Agree that this should be easier.  We have it on our roadmap to re-implement the dropdown control with the combo implementation when that is more stabel. At that point it should be much easier to switch between the two.

Note that if you already have a combo box, disabling search, and multi-select options will make it work almost like a combo box.  If you prefer a single item to show up, you can select the single item layout template.
